April 27, 2016 – Otherworld: Places of Initiation and Living Resurrection

Join us Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 6:30 PM for “Otherworld: Places of Initiation and Living Resurrection” presented by John Pickard.

What if the concept of resurrection perpetuated by the Church is a fraud? That it was once a level of initiation performed in secret Mysteries schools around the world, thousands of years before Christ?

That a suppressed gospel describes it as something to be experienced by the living, not the dead? That it involves an out-of-body journey to the Otherworld and back? That prominent scholars and initiates like Socrates and Plato described it as the pinnacle of a person’s spiritual development? And that the places where this life-changing adventure is possible are all around us?

This short film by best-selling author and researcher Freddy Silva may turn you inside out.

Free Energy Comments Off on April 13, 2016 – The John Searl Story

Join us Wednesday April 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM for “The John Searl Story” presented by Jim Patterson.

John Searl claims he has the solution to our global energy crisis. What’s more, he says he’s had it for over 60 years. Regarded by many as The Godfather of free energy science, John Searl believes his magnetic generator, the Searl Effect Generator, can save our planet from environmental disaster. So, what if he’s telling the truth?

The John Searl Story explores this question, as we chronicle the life of arguably the most controversial inventor of the last hundred years. From the childhood dreams that led to his theorem The Law of the Squares, to the mystery tests of his UFO-like levity discs. We analyze Searl Effect technology, hear from believers and from the skeptics, and investigate today’s effort to reconstruct John Searl’s contentious generator.

Does John Searl have the answer to our global energy crisis? This is his life and his machine in his own words. Hear his case and you decide.

March 23, 2016 – ‘Experiencers’ with John E Mack

ETs, UFOs Comments Off on March 23, 2016 – ‘Experiencers’ with John E Mack

Join us Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 6:30 PM for “Experiencers with John E Mack” presented by John Pickard.

A documentary by Stephane Allix about Alien Abductions features several experiencers who had worked with Dr. John E. Mack Harvard Psychologist who appears only briefly in this film, his death having occurred soon after production began.

More substantial are visits to the New England countryside with experiencers, including one couple who videotaped an unidentified flying object hovering above a lake a few hours before they were abducted from their lakeside cottage. Also in this film, is the New York artist and alien encounter investigator Budd Hopkins.

Although this documentary is similar to other documentaries commonly seen on American cable television, it has a more leisurely pace and gives more time for the experiencers to explain themselves than is commonly granted in US productions. One of the best interviews in the program is not with an experiencer at all, but rather with the husband of an experiencer, who matter-of-factly explains how his family has come to terms with his wife’s experiences.

John Edward Mack M.D. (October 4, 1929 — September 27, 2004) was an American psychiatrist, writer, and professor at Harvard Medical School. He was a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer, and a leading authority on the spiritual or transformational effects of alleged alien abduction experiences.

Mack had a world view inspired by elements of spiritual and philosophical traditions which hold that people are all connected to one another; this theme of “connection” was taken to a controversial extreme in the early 1990s when Mack commenced his decade-plus study of 200 men and women who reported recurrent alien encounter experiences. Such encounters had seen some limited attention from academic figures (R. Leo Sprinkle perhaps being the earliest, in the 1960s). Mack, however, remains probably the most esteemed academic to have studied the subject

Thomas will bring some sample photos and discuss specific spirits that seem to be appearing as well as take questions on the general phenomena of spirit photography. Do only certain types of people or cameras capture ghosts or spirits on film or digital image? How can we interpret the energy or spirits that show up in pictures? Are spirit photographs genuine?

February 10, 2016 – The Floor Is Yours!

Celebration Comments Off on February 10, 2016 – The Floor Is Yours!

The Floor is YOURS!

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of LES in February 2016 we’re doing something entirely different! We’re asking each attendee to think about what they would like 2016 to mean in their lives. What would you like to accomplish over the next year – whether materially, spiritually or otherwise.

We would like to have a discussion centered around all our hopes and dreams for the next year. It can be anything that’s currently on your mind…your goals, your hobbies, your job, your family, your spirituality…anything at all. It can be something as simple as I want the summer to be a moderate temperature and as complex as I want to find a cure for a disease, or the meaning of life.

This meeting is all about you. So, please come prepared to share with everyone some of what’s important to you. If you don’t want to share, that’s fine…just come and listen to those that do.

We’ll celebrate our 5th anniversary with some cake and champagne (the cheap kind)! We’ll also have an aspiration ball, where you can write something that you would like to see happen in 2016 and insert it into the ball. No one will be able to read what you write if you don’t want them to. Once it’s in the ball, it’s in there. But we’ll have a few minutes for everyone to focus on sending their energy for success on the aspirations placed inside the ball.

Hope you’ll join us for this unique group experience.

January 13, 2016 – What on Earth?

Crop Circles Comments Off on January 13, 2016 – What on Earth?

Join us Wednesday January 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM for “What on Earth” presented by Adam Huff.

“What on Earth?” is an 81-minute feature documentary chronicling my interactions, in England, with members of the lively community of visionary artists, scientists, philosophers, geometers, educators and farmers who have been profoundly touched by the crop circle phenomenon. It deals with how our scientific materialistic worldview hampers serious investigation of a great mystery of our time, and how knowing the circles come from another intelligence would help us think as a planet to solve the problems that challenge us now.” — Suzanne Taylor

One critic writes: “Unlike some other documentaries what this documentary does not do is latch on to one specific theory and then present it as the definitive one, what it does do is explore all the possibilities and present them in an unbiased manner. No stone is left unturned, the film accepts for instance that there are hoaxers out there and even follows some of them as they go about the process of creating circles, no one explanation is put forward as the “correct” one and by the end its left up to the viewer to decide which make the most sense.

Throughout the film Taylor meets and speaks to a number of people including researchers and investigators as well as people who have had experiences with crop circles either when visiting them or when circles have appeared in their own fields. There is a lot of passion for the topic here, some have spent many years investigating the subject including Taylor herself and it shows, the interviews are fascinating to listen to and some of the stories are genuinely perplexing.

The film is presented very well with a large number of crop circles being shown throughout, the music fits very well and adds to the atmosphere of mystery and intrigue. By the end the film as a whole feels a bit like a spiritual experience, opening the mind to a plethora of metaphysical concepts and leaving even the most die-hard skeptic believing that there may just be something to the crop circle mystery after all.”
