Louisville Esoteric Society

Thanks to everone who attended “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief” by Gregg Braden on May 24, presented by John Pickard.  The group dynamics and discussion were excellent!

John shared with us Gregg Braden’s writings and concepts about the incredible power of belief.  How a change in our perceptions and shifts in our beliefs can hold the timeless secret to healing, peace, and even reality itself.   We each have a choice at any given moment in our lives to embrace love or fear.  Which of the two we focus upon will mold the spiritual and physical manifestations in our lives.  Great job John!

In addition to our 2nd and 4th Tuesday Discussion Group Presentations, LES is now starting a Book Club. The intent is to read and discuss books on various esoteric topics.

The first meeting of the Louisville Esoteric Society sponsored book club will be held at the Bon Air Branch of the Louisville Free Public Library.  The meeting will be from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and will be on the First and Third Tuesdays of each month, beginning Tuesday May 17.

The first book on the planned agenda is  “Total Kabbalah” by Maggy Whitehouse.

NOTE: LES Book Club “Total Kaballah” Meetings have been discontinued effective July 2011.

We had another great turn out for the May 10, 2011 discussion topic, “Megalithic Anachronisms – Why History as You Know it is Wrong” presented by Jim Patterson.

Jim presented evidence found in ancient megalithic (monolithic stone) architecture that shows ancient man was far more advanced than what we are taught in the history books.

A large number of examples were shared which obviously show that the causal explanations of archaeologists (with no engineering knowledge) fall far short.

• Constructions containing stones up to 1,000 tons that we’ve only just been able to lift and move within the last 100 years of technology.
• Stones cut, shaped and finished by the ancients that are so hard we, as modern man, have to use hardened steel and diamond cutting tools to begin to replicate them.
• Stone joints that are so tight, and stone surfaces that are so flat, they scream “space age precision.”
