Join us Wednesday November 12, 2014 at 6:30 PM for “Non-linear time, layers of reality and practical methods to connect with these concepts – in one tradition of Appalachian energy work“ presented by Louise Smith.

This presentation explores the concept of non-linear time from the perspective of an Appalachian tradition of energy work, the Maker Tradition. In this tradition, rather than being seen as linear, time is understood as simultaneous cycles which layer each other in an ever-deepening spiral, adding a depth to personal experiences which result in occurrences such as synchronicity.

During the presentation we will explore the implications of non-linear time as it relates to daily life and the use of personal intent within time, including how subjects and events can span across several time cycles at once. This tradition’s specific methods for working with personal intent outside of non-linear time, such as connecting with events which are not perceived as current, will be shared and discussed.

Bob’s description:

During my formal education in Physics 45 years ago, I was driven by a desire to explore the boundary between Physics and Metaphysics, my real passion.  Unable to gain any traction from what was available to me at the time, I pursued a career elsewhere.

Taking up this quest again upon retirement, I found there has been essentially no progress in this area from U.S. mainstream physics.  Although, there was no lack of alternative physics theories available through the internet, most had very little experimental support and it was difficult for me to sort out fact from fiction.

Meanwhile on the Spiritual path, I was frequently exposed to motivational speakers who would relate spiritual principles to various aspects of Quantum Theory.  To me, the connections often seemed more poetic than scientific and while this unquestionably had value to practically all of my friends, for me it was like rubbing salt in the wound.

As my wife and friends became involved in energy healing, I have been trying to better understand how this healing energy, Qi, relates to and interacts with the known physical universe on one hand and consciousness on the other.  The book shown above pulls together the most promising scientific experimental results and theories worldwide addressing this topic. I was amazed at how much good information was available.

It appears to me, that this healing energy is the bridge I was looking for between physics and metaphysics.

Join the Louisville Esoteric Society on Tuesday February 26, 2013 at 6:30 PM for our next meeting topic:  “Medical Intuition: Learning the Language of your Body” presented by Lorena Peter.

One interpretation of the physical symptoms of dis-ease is as a form of communication between the body and the other parts of us; mind and spirit.  Unfortunately in our society we learn to separate those aspects of our being, to ignore any connection, most especially any messages. Western medicine treats the body as though it were a machine-like entity operating separately.  In fact, it treats the body as though each part of it can be treated without affecting the other parts of the whole.

As a medical intuitive Lorena acts as an interpreter between the body and the mind of her clients.  She uses a psychic connection to tune into the physical to discover what organs or organ systems are affected.  Then, she asks the further question of what is the root cause of those problems and the way in which they might be healed.  The answer to this question helps guide the client to a complete healing.

In this presentation, Lorena will demonstrate what the client sees her do in a consultation, followed by a consideration of why.  To better understand the correlations between the human energy system and the physical body, refer to authors such as Caroline Myss (Anatomy of a Spirit) and Mona Lisa Schultz (Awakening Intuition).

For this meeting, we’ll spend some time exploring two video productions: “Sacred Knowledge of Vibration and the Power of Human Emotions” and  “What Happens If You Do Or Don’t Ascend?”.   The subject matter covers some of the foundational concepts and principals that govern the function of Creation.  By understanding many of these concepts and principals we will be better enabled to have greater control over our own lives as we proceed into this profound time at the End of this Age.  Knowledge is power and this information should intuitively resonate with many of us.

We had a great time Tuesday November 22, 2011 for “Energy, Vibration & the Human Aura” – presented by Lisa McDowell!

All of Life is energy and vibrates at speeds or frequencies from very dense to highly evolved.  The energy that we are is a lot larger than we consciously acknowledge and this ‘field’ can be affected by the thoughts and emotions of ourselves and also others when we allow it!  We focused on what comprises our auric field, what information it shares with us about ourselves and others, and how we can internally affect it.  And….we conducted some fun exercises throughout the evening’s program with interesting results!

Lisa McDowell facilitates the energy of Oneness for all who are awakening to an awareness of their true nature and the higher knowledge that awaits their remembrance.  Lisa offers classes in “Evolving your Intuition”, “Consciously Creating Your Life Experiences”, ”Energy Healing”, “Self Transformation”, “Higher Awareness & Frequency” and “Being Your Path”.  She also works with healing through Reiki, the Oneness Blessing and Journey Within Readings.  With these offerings, Lisa is ever mindful that she is only sharing what she has found to be her ever-evolving truths and offers them to assist the seeker in discerning within themselves their own truth.
