Conventional cosmology has tried to understand and explain the structure and history of the universe based exclusively on the force of gravity between neutral bodies.  However, most matter in the universe is electrically charged plasma and the electric force between charged bodies is over a trillion-trillion-trillion times larger than the force of gravity.  As a result, many of the new discoveries, made possible by our new observational tools, contradict the existing gravitational model, requiring the fabrication of un-provable phenomena and un-detectible entities to hold onto it.  In contrast, these new discoveries can be readily explained by an electrical model of the universe using principles that have been demonstrated in plasma physics labs for decades.

This video introduces an Electric Model of the Universe and recounts how a renewed effort in this area was given an unexpected assist by mythological accounts of an ancient sky much different than what we observe today.   After the 1 hour video there will be a 15 minute presentation on some of the implications of this new Plasma Cosmology.

In the distant past, it was believed that the movement of the stars guided the rise and fall of human civilization.  How much did the ancients really know?

Just as day and night are caused by the spinning Earth, and the seasons by the Earth’s orbit around the Sun, so too did the ancients believe in a larger cycle that influenced the rise and fall of civilization.  Plato called it the Great Year.

This provocative film, narrated by James Earl Jones, investigates the common threads in mythological beliefs around the ancient world and looks back into time seeking answers to the questions that still loom over science and history today.

• How far back into history do humankind’s roots really go?
• What did the ancients know about the stars and their movements and what can we learn from them?
• How was the precession of the equinox, the slow progression of the stars across the sky over thousands of years, used to mark the rise and fall of great ages by the ancients?

Many cultures spoke of an unseen sun that drives precession and causes the cycle of the Great Year.  Could there be an unseen binary partner to our Sun?  The Great Year examines this theory and finds that perhaps these ancients were really onto something!
