October 8, 2013 – The Impacts of Our Infancy on Our Experiences: Understanding the Significance of Infant Consciousness

Consciousness Comments Off on October 8, 2013 – The Impacts of Our Infancy on Our Experiences: Understanding the Significance of Infant Consciousness

Join the Louisville Esoteric Society on Tuesday October 8, 2013 at 6:30 PM for our next meeting:   The Impacts of Our Infancy on Our Experiences: Understanding the Significance of Infant Consciousness” presented by Vicky Bowker Jeter, RSc.P.

In this presentation we will explore why infant consciousness is the most significant stage of human awareness to understand. The first impressions within the introduction to any relationship tend to lay a foundation for the quality of that relationship; gestation and birth are our introductions to what it feels like to be human and what we make that mean about Life and who we are. The quality of all our relationships depends on our first relationship. We will have the opportunity to discuss these impacts from the infant perspective of thoughts, feelings and perceptions through the delightful and informative DVD, Babies Know . . . Seven Principles of Pre- and Perinatal Psychology.

Then there will be an opportunity to talk about the long-term effects of experiences during gestation and birth from an adult perspective through Vicky Jeter’s book, Call Me Victoria: Life Poems and Stories from Trial to Triumph! The book chronicles her journey from being born two months premature, resulting in Spastic Cerebral Palsy, through her discovery of consciousness studies and applying universal spiritual principle to transform her life. Vicky’s story is just an example, opening the windows and doors of possibility for each person to consider their own story. Vicky is a licensed practitioner through Centers for Spiritual living, of 24 years. She is a trainee in pre- and perinatal education, with Dr. William Emerson Emerson, Ph.D, president of the Association for Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Health.

All sincere seekers are welcome.  A $5 donation is suggested.
