It’s time for our second gathering of the Louisville Esoteric Society reboot! Once again, it will be held at one of our regular members’ homes. Seating will be limited and our long-term members will be given first right of refusal for the available spots before they are opened to others on our email subscribers list.

The Earthing Movie: The Remarkable Science of Grounding

This is a video documentary that reveals the scientific phenomenon of how we can heal our bodies by doing the simplest thing that a person can do… standing barefoot on the earth.  (1 hour 15 minutes with discussion to follow)

At an LES member’s home. Those who successfully RSVP will be given the address prior to the meeting.

Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023 – Meeting starts at 6:30 PM; Doors open at 5:45 PM
Arrive anytime on/after 5:45 PM for social engagement, adult beverages and a few light snacks.

Join the Louisville Esoteric Society on Wednesday June 25, 2014 at 6:30 PM for our next meeting:   “Life Force, The Scientific Basis: Breakthrough Physics of Energy Medicine, Healing, Chi and Quantum Consciousness“ presented by Bob Hartye.

Bob’s description:

During my formal education in Physics 45 years ago, I was driven by a desire to explore the boundary between Physics and Metaphysics, my real passion.  Unable to gain any traction from what was available to me at the time, I pursued a career elsewhere.

Taking up this quest again upon retirement, I found there has been essentially no progress in this area from U.S. mainstream physics.  Although, there was no lack of alternative physics theories available through the internet, most had very little experimental support and it was difficult for me to sort out fact from fiction.

Meanwhile on the Spiritual path, I was frequently exposed to motivational speakers who would relate spiritual principles to various aspects of Quantum Theory.  To me, the connections often seemed more poetic than scientific and while this unquestionably had value to practically all of my friends, for me it was like rubbing salt in the wound.

As my wife and friends became involved in energy healing, I have been trying to better understand how this healing energy, Qi, relates to and interacts with the known physical universe on one hand and consciousness on the other.  The book shown above pulls together the most promising scientific experimental results and theories worldwide addressing this topic. I was amazed at how much good information was available.

It appears to me, that this healing energy is the bridge I was looking for between physics and metaphysics.

This feature documentary, which gained three prestigious Angel Awards at the Monaco International Film Festival in 2008, takes you on a cinematographic journey to João Teixeira de Faria, also known as John of God, the miracle healer of Brazil. Join the Louisville Esoteric Society on Tuesday February 26, 2013 at 6:30 PM for our next meeting topic:  “Medical Intuition: Learning the Language of your Body” presented by Lorena Peter.

One interpretation of the physical symptoms of dis-ease is as a form of communication between the body and the other parts of us; mind and spirit.  Unfortunately in our society we learn to separate those aspects of our being, to ignore any connection, most especially any messages. Western medicine treats the body as though it were a machine-like entity operating separately.  In fact, it treats the body as though each part of it can be treated without affecting the other parts of the whole.

As a medical intuitive Lorena acts as an interpreter between the body and the mind of her clients.  She uses a psychic connection to tune into the physical to discover what organs or organ systems are affected.  Then, she asks the further question of what is the root cause of those problems and the way in which they might be healed.  The answer to this question helps guide the client to a complete healing.

In this presentation, Lorena will demonstrate what the client sees her do in a consultation, followed by a consideration of why.  To better understand the correlations between the human energy system and the physical body, refer to authors such as Caroline Myss (Anatomy of a Spirit) and Mona Lisa Schultz (Awakening Intuition).

The Living Matrix – The Science of Healing uncovers new ideas about the intricate web of factors that determine our health.  This film talks with a group of dedicated scientists, psychologists, bioenergetic researchers and holistic practitioners who are finding healing potential in a wide variety of new places.

Thanks to everone who attended “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief” by Gregg Braden on May 24, presented by John Pickard.  The group dynamics and discussion were excellent!

John shared with us Gregg Braden’s writings and concepts about the incredible power of belief.  How a change in our perceptions and shifts in our beliefs can hold the timeless secret to healing, peace, and even reality itself.   We each have a choice at any given moment in our lives to embrace love or fear.  Which of the two we focus upon will mold the spiritual and physical manifestations in our lives.  Great job John!

We had another full house for the Tuesday, April 12 discussion topic “Biology of  Belief ” by Dr. Bruce Lipton, presented by Diana Gautier.  We viewed a video of Dr. Lipton providing profound insight into the nature of how our consciousness controls both our genetics and behavior.   He revealed stunning new scientific discoveries about how the biochemical effects of the brain’s functioning show that all the cells of our body are affected by our THOUGHTS.  Dr. Lipton described the precise molecular pathways through which this occurs.  Thanks to everyone for a tremendous turn-out!
