Peace Pilgrim was (and is) an inspirational human being.  She saw through the external façade that most of us identify with as our “reality”.  She is one of those many sages throughout history, who upon realizing her/his true infinite nature attempted to consciously communicate that Truth to others through the masterpiece of Life expressing.  It would seem that ever increasing numbers of human beings all over Mother Earth are remembering aspects of that same inner Truth.  What if we could identify and share the stories of some of these inspiring souls, and embrace our own inner strength, courage and creative nature on a community pilgrimage?  We could simply walk across America to explore the power of the human heart.

Join us for a discussion about the inspiration and intention behind the upcoming Trek For Truth, a 5,000 mile walk from the Atlantic to the Pacific on the American Discovery Trail.  The lives of people like Peace Pilgrim, Nikola Tesla, and Royal Raymond Rife invite us to expand our sense of the possible.  We intend to seek out and share true stories and information intended to expand and empower each of us.

Join us Wednesday November 12, 2014 at 6:30 PM for “Non-linear time, layers of reality and practical methods to connect with these concepts – in one tradition of Appalachian energy work“ presented by Louise Smith.

This presentation explores the concept of non-linear time from the perspective of an Appalachian tradition of energy work, the Maker Tradition. In this tradition, rather than being seen as linear, time is understood as simultaneous cycles which layer each other in an ever-deepening spiral, adding a depth to personal experiences which result in occurrences such as synchronicity.

During the presentation we will explore the implications of non-linear time as it relates to daily life and the use of personal intent within time, including how subjects and events can span across several time cycles at once. This tradition’s specific methods for working with personal intent outside of non-linear time, such as connecting with events which are not perceived as current, will be shared and discussed.

For centuries scientists have believed human beings were separate from the creation of our world, simply pawns being played in the evolution of the Universe.  New scientific discoveries and ancient spiritual teachings point to a very different, more interactive and intentional role for our species.  This presentation will explore the old (Unconscious) and new (Conscious) creation paradigms, in which we have been participating.  It will offer practical and mystical methods for increasing the mindful manifestation of the world in which we choose to live.

Join the Louisville Esoteric Society on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at 6:30 PM for our next meeting:   “Something Unknown Is Doing We Don’t Know What“ presented by Bob Hartye.

This will be a fascinating spiritual journey into the science behind psychic experiences.

Is it possible that some people can read your mind, “Telepathy“ or look into the future, “Clairvoyancy”? Why is it that some people can cure themselves while in the last stages of a deadly cancer, “Healing“? Does mind over matter really exist, and if so, how do we explain this “Telekinesis”?

In the US millions of people claim to ‘see’ distant objects or places “Remote Viewing“. Where is the boundary between ‘real’ magical powers and fraud?  Can these “miracles of the mind” be explained?

These and more questions will be answered in this award winning documentary “Something Unknown Is Doing We Don’t Know What” by Dutch filmmaker Renée Scheltema, who was inspired to explore the realms of psychic phenomena after a series of curious and unexplainable events happened around her all in a short period of time.

She traveled to the US to meet up with the top scientists, para-psychologists, psychologists, physicians, and doctors within the field of research, like Prof Charles Tart, Prof Gary Schwartz, Dr Larry Dossey and Dr Dean Radin. Along the way she collects anecdotal stories from celebrities within the field, such as psychic detective Nancy Myer, author Arielle Ford, astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell and intuitive Catherine Yunt.

Renée found that experiments of today reveal how science is verifying numerous kinds of connections : ‘mind to mind’; ‘mind to body’ and ‘mind to world’, demonstrating that psychic abilities are part of our inherent nature.

Constance’s presentation will be based on her compelling book, On My Way: Reflections of a Kentucky Psychic which she published in 2013. Her story is a heartfelt memoir revealing authentic gifts and tenacious courage of the human spirit. From the time Constance was a small child, her parents modeled for her how to tune into the underlying nature of things. This was necessary as a key to the path that would save her life from critical Asthma attacks. What she learned from fighting for every breath and surviving developed into intuitive and psychic skills that bless the world today.

Constance shares about meeting her riveting challenges with relationships, God and herself head-on. Her approach brings insight through hilarious humor and tears of heartbreak. Today, in addition to being a Yoga instructor and Reiki Master, Constance serves others as a Psychic and an Astrologer. She has written regularly for Odyssey magazine for over 17 years. All of these paths culminate into incredible wisdom and humanity that is rich for sharing.
